Vicente Russo is an Electronic Engineer turned post production media entrepreneur. Originally from Brazil, Vicente has been living in the United States since 1997. He has been working in the subtitling industry since 1995, and found his true passion and talent in this field. He worked for HBO Brazil and Globocast Miami before starting his own company, Transcaption, in 1997. Seeking to expand his business vision, Vicente started Ecaption in 2007 and he has been working with a team of skilled professionals in this business to bring the best product to his clients.

Carolina Gomes

Carolina Gomes

With a B.A. in English and Literature, Carolina Gomes is a seasoned translator with almost 15 years of experience. She has worked in a myriad of projects, including literary fiction, academic articles, books, films, TV shows, documentaries, and all sorts of audiovisual material. She specializes in Fiction, Art, Culture, Fashion, History, and Crime. In her free time, she is an avid potter and studies Art and Psychology. She also loves wine and travelling, and is eager to adopt an adorable furry friend.

Marcel Paiva

I am Marcel Paiva and I graduated with a BA degree in Translation with a specialization in Audiovisual Translation from The Central University of Venezuela in 2005. I also have a one year postgraduate course of Science in Business Management and Finance from The UCAB (Universidad Católica Andrés Bello) in 2012. I have almost 15 years of experience in dubbing, subtitling, SDH, CC, etc.

Érica Lima

Érica Lima

Érica C. V. Lima has a bachelor degree in Translation and Interpretation in English language. She has also majored in Law School and attended a summer program in Law and Legal institutions in Madison University, in Wisconsin. She has learned German language in Regensburg, Germany for a semester and continued her studies in Goethe Institute in São Paulo. She’s been translating and subtitling since 1989 for several major companies as well as technical translations for companies like Bosch and others, as well as projects for film festivals.

I am a detail-oriented translator devoted to creating high-quality translations for movies, documentaries, and TV shows. I hold a bachelor’s degree in French and a postgraduate degree in Audiovisual Translation. I have been working in the entertainment industry since 2016, and I provide subtitling services for videos in English, Spanish and French into Brazilian Portuguese.

Rafael Magiolino

Rafael Magiolino

I graduated with a BA degree in Marketing from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas (PUCCAMP) in 2015 and I got a specialization certificate in Audiovisual Translation at Cultura Inglesa in 2016. I have been working in the subtitling industry since then, translating content for major streaming services as end clients, and I also have experience in SDH, dubbing and spotting.

Salmer Borges

I am Brazilian and have lived during 12 years in Spanish speaking countries, mainly in Ecuador. During this time, I studied Spanish and English, worked and traveled through South and Central Americas, what provided me with large knowledge about Latin American culture. I have a bachelor’s degree in Arts Portuguese/Spanish by Methodist University of São Paulo and a postgraduate degree in translation and interpretation Portuguese/Spanish by the Gama Filho University. I have 15 years of experience in audiovisual translation, mostly for subtitling, and I translate into Brazilian Portuguese and Latin American Spanish.
